BIOGRAPHY
Eric has had music in his soul from his earliest years having taught himself to play the organ and the piano when he was just 6. He developed a keen musical ear and intuition before he starting his first lessons at the age of 11.
At 17 he started a band at high school in which he sang and wrote music.
He quickly lived from his music starting off as a pianist for six years at Club Med, going on to spend eight years performing in luxury hotels and pianos bars.
Immersed in music, he composed and wrote prolifically. There then followed a time of chance encounters. In 1994 his path crossed that of Patrick Vilaret, one of Michel Berger’s right-hand men, who decided to produce him.
Pomme Music/Sony released Eric’s first record in 1995 which sadly but did not do as well as it should due to a lack of promotion.
Others fans he met on his way convinced him that his talent as a tenor should be heard in recitals. Through performing he managed to travel round France giving concerts for three years. During this time Eric continued composing. The director of « une musique » a programme for TF1, the French national television channel, recognised his talent as a song writer. Eric went on to produce background music for various music publishers. One of these titles appeared in a compilation Pitch Music Center. He wrote for various other artists, in particular with Emmanuel Moire in 2006 and they worked together on the music for the show
